Star Mile ~ Joshua Radin
One of my wake-up regulars, and one of my favorite ways to wake up.
It’s clear why I woke up with this today. Late last night I stumbled upon a couple old blog posts I wrote this time last year. They were hard to read. And Joshua Radin’s music was their caustic fuel.
You know what I love about this guy? He occasionally and very subtly changes up the lyrics when you least expect it - like this:
“You watch the stars fade
They gather you back to their home…”
in this version, becomes:
“You watch the stars fade
They gather you back to their holes
I guess it’s better than being alone”
This Cleveland boy knows how to break my heart.
